This altar frontal depicts four scenes from the lives of saints beneath arches topped by angels. From left to right: Saint Martin of Tours healing the sick, Saint Mark arrested during Easter mass, Saint John the Evangelist asleep on the chest of Christ and then drinking then poison before King Aristodemus.
The small female figures in prayer in the first scene are probably the patrons of this work.
The geometric decor and counted-thread embroidery link it to Mosane or German production.
