Visit
Discover the Gallo-Roman way of life with a guide.

The remains of Cluny's Gallo-Roman thermal baths (public baths), built around the 1st century, are among the largest preserved north of the Loire. The spectacular frigidarium (cold room) still boasts a vaulted ceiling almost 14 meters high! The tour, which is only available with a tour guide, explains the workings and social role of the thermal baths, while exploring their exceptional underground galleries.

This tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is bookable for teenagers from 15 years old and adults.

During temporary exhibitions, the works usually displayed in the Frigidarium are not visible.

Please note that this tour won't be available 1 month before and after our exhibitions, due to exhibition installation and dismantling work, please check our schedule.

For this visit, groups are strictly limited to 25 students (or visitors).
