9:30 am – 6:15 pm every day except Mondays.
The ticket desk closes at 5:30 pm. Staff ask visitors to make their way to the exit at 5:45 pm.
Late-night opening is on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:15 pm. to 9:00 pm. (the ticket desk closes at 8:30 pm).
The "frigidarium" is not accessible to the public when temporary exhibitions are being set up and taken down.
For safety reasons, the historic Abbots' garden is closed to the public until further notice.

The admission ticket is valid all day. However, a booked visit slot cannot be rescheduled unless the group booking service decides otherwise.
The right to speak aloud in the rooms is regulated. Teachers in front of their students, curators, and licensed tour guides with a professional card are permitted. Any other intervention must have prior authorisation from the institution.

The group leader is required to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity and to check in alone at the ticket desk, bringing the booking voucher provided by the museum. The group is asked to wait outside the museum while registration takes place.

In accordance with the Vigipirate security plan, suitcases, weekend bags and rucksacks are not permitted in the museum. Large umbrellas must be left at the museum entrance.
There are cloakroom facilities reserved for groups.
Article 30 : For school groups, a minimum of one accompanying adult is required for :
- 8 children for preschool classes ;
- 10 children in primary or middle school ;
- 15 young people for secondary school classes.
