Services and equipment
Strollers are allowed in the museum provided that their design does not create a risk to other visitors, the works on display, or the facilities. If the museum is crowded, security staff may request that they are left at the museum entrance.
The museum provides wheelchairs and folding seats free of charge. The loan may be requested at the bag check in exchange for proof of identity.
Baby changing tables are available in the toilet facilities.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Young visitors may be asked to show a form of ID. Minors are under the responsibility of their parents or guardian, whether or not they are accompanied.

Permission to speak in the rooms
The right to speak aloud in the rooms is regulated. Teachers in front of their students, curators, and licensed tour guides with a professional card are permitted. Any other intervention must have prior authorisation from the institution.

Café / Bookshop
Located at the heart of the tour, the Café des Amis gives you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious and aesthetic break between mediaeval and contemporary worlds. On sunny days, take a moment to relax in the courtyard of the mediaeval Hôtel.
Open from 9:30 am to 6:15 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, except on days when the museum is closed for exceptional reasons.
The museum shop and bookstore has a wide selection of books from Antiquity and the Middle Ages, as well as a range of stationery, jewellery, games, etc. It has a section for children.
