Documentation center

The documentation center allows researchers and students to access, by appointment, an extensive collection of documentation on the museum's collections and, more broadly, medieval art.

The documentation center provides the public with a unique collection of documents dedicated to medieval arts.

It brings together artwork files, historical archives, and photographs, as well as an extensive library comprising several thousand reference works and journals. Thematic files further enrich this collection, showcasing the diversity and richness of medieval creation, along with the history of the museum since its founding in 1843 and its architectural and museological evolution.
