This unique exhibition explores the origins of chivalry in the East and West and the various codes of chivalry that have developed around the world.
It is organised by the Musée de Cluny, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Agence France-Muséums.
Curators: Élisabeth Taburet-Delahaye, former director of the Musée de Cluny – Musée national du Moyen Âge; Dr Carine Juvin, curator in the Department of Islamic Art at the Musée du Louvre; and Michel Huynh, chief curator at the Musée de Cluny – Musée national du Moyen Âge.
