The research library provides the public with a wide range of literature on all artistic fields of the Middle Ages. Nevertheless, the uniqueness of the resources is the arrangement and improvement of files on the arts works that are part of the museum’s collections.
More than 3,500 files of art works and more than 200 thematic files.
15,000 written works, part of which are resources of catalogues from museums both in France and abroad as well as exhibition catalogues and 17 subscriptions to periodical journals.
