9:30 am – 6:15 pm every day except Mondays.
The ticket desk closes at 5:30 pm. Staff ask visitors to make their way to the exit at 5:45 pm.
Late-night opening is on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:15 pm. to 9:00 pm (the ticket desk closes at 8:30 pm).
The "frigidarium" is not accessible to the public when temporary exhibitions are being set up and taken down.
For safety reasons, the historic Abbots' garden is closed to the public until further notice.

Guide dogs are permitted in the museum.
At the start of the tour route, the museum provides a tactile model of the buildings designed to meet the needs of visitors with visual impairments: high contrast, Braille. Beneath the model, two tactile maps show the route by floor. These maps are available on request; please ask for a key at the reception.
In Gallery 5, a tactile lectern provides access to adapted content and allows visitors to explore, through touch, a replica of a sculpture from Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The museum provides folding chairs free of charge. These can be borrowed on request at the bag check in exchange for proof of identity.

Individual and group cloakroom facilities are available to visitors free of charge, subject to capacity.
In accordance with the Vigipirate security plan, suitcases, weekend bags and rucksacks are not permitted in the museum. Large umbrellas must be left at the museum entrance.
