To help you make your visit more enjoyable, please note that there are a large number of school groups visiting the museum on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Quieter times to visit are between noon and 02.00pm, or after 03.30pm.
Be aware : regarding the program Cluny 4, works are in progress at the Musée de Cluny since autumn 2015 and some rooms wil be temporarily closed. Please check the schedule here.
Concessionary prices will be applied for all visitors until February the 28th 2018.
The museum will be totally closed from March the 1st to Mid-July 2018.
Due to high temperatures in the building, the museum will be closed whenever outdoor temperature exceeds 33°C (91° F). During the summer, we suggest that you plan your visit in the morning. Thank you for your understanding.

Concessions must present a valid ID upon purchasing tickets.
Free: every first Sunday of the month, for under 18’s, 18 to 25 years (if members of the European Community), practicing teachers (Education Pass required), students of the Ecole du Louvre and of art and catering schools, professional artists, job seekers, RSA and ASS beneficiaries (French forms of social welfare), those with a disability card showing a rate equal to or higher than 80%, journalists, members of ICOM (International Community of Museums), ICOMOS (Inernational Council on Munuments and Sites), Amis du Musée de Cluny (Friends of the Musée de Cluny), etc.
Audio guides cost €1 for those benefitting from free entry (upon presentation of a form of identification)
Please note that no audio guides will be delivered from January the 22nd to Februrary the 28th 2018.
The pre-sale of tickets for groups is subject to specific conditions for authorities, associations, Works Councils, tourism professionals, etc.

- As of 12th September 2017 for reservations for the months of November and December 2017 and January 2018
Large items of luggage (suitcases, large travel bags, etc.) cannot be accepted in the cloak room.
