There remains very little in the way of medieval clothing. Accessories, on the other hand, have fared better. These indispensable toiletry items are adorned with heraldry or romantic words: "Please have me", on a comb made of yew and created in Northern France, or religious themes such as the Annunciation or chivalrous scenes.
