The Friends of the National Museum of the Middle Ages Association:

. Proposes conferences, debates, visits and travels on the way
to the discovery of the medieval heritage ;

. Supports the museum activities and its renovation project ;

. Participates in the enrichment of its heritage ;

. Asks for actions of patronage in its favor especially for the restoration and valorization of its works of art campaign.

 To Adhere to l'ARMMA allows then to participate in the activities of the association as well as to participate in a collective patronage in favor of museum.

Armma participated in the purchase of twenty works in eight years.

Come to join us

Simply curious, seasoned amateurs, student, medievist, everyone has au place in ARMMA. The Association ARMMA accepts anyone who appreciates the museum and its invaluable heritage, and who is interested in the thousands years of history presented in its collections. To join, you only have to pay a yearly membership.
An Association according to the law of 1901, l'ARMMA counts 570 members. It is directed by an administrative council of sixteen members and was renewed in June 14, 2005 for four years. His president is Christian Giacomotto.

Activities and advantages

. lecture-tours with the exposition curators or commissioners;
. meetings and debates on history and art in the Middle Ages;
. tours guided by specialists in medieval heritage.

The Museum offers members :

. free permanent access to its rooms;
. home delivery of its activities programme;
. reduced admission to concerts and evening performances;
. 5 % rebate in the bookshop;
. an invitation to the vernissage of expositions.

send your full name, address and occupation with a cheque for the membership fee made out to ARMMA, in the amount of :

Tax advantages
L'ARMMA is an association of general interests. Gifts are made by board members, benefactors and patrons (who have no more rights than the contribution of the other members) give right to tax deductions.
For individuals : 66 % of the gift is deductible from the income taxes with a limit of 20 % of the income.
For businesses : 60 % of the gift is deductible from income taxes on the society, within a limit of 5 % of business income.

Welcome to the benefactors !

L'ARMMA accepts gifts form independant people and businesses who want to participate in its activities especially in its collective patronage actions towards the museum.
L'ARMMA creates also direct contracts between the museum and the benefactors who want to carry a particular action, to acquire a work of art for example or to take charge of a restoration campaign, to sustain an exposition, a publication, a research or any other project.
